Hi, Beverly,

Thanks for commenting on the National Museum of American History's blog post about the First Ladies exhibition. Martha's gown is not currently on display. You can see a nice image of her silk taffeta gown from the 1780s here: http://pinterest.com/pin/43206477645235986/.
Have a great day and thanks for commenting!

I, too, have been intrigued by the First Lady gowns. Is Martha Washington's inaugural gown on display now, or is it in permanent storage?

Good fortune to you, Ms Yoshida, and thank you for helping at the Museum! (and thanks for an interesting article)
