Snapshots of Julia Child's 100th birthday bash

By NMAH

Yesterday our visitors joined us in celebrating Julia Child’s 100th birthday with cookies, cake, and a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday.” In case you couldn’t join us, here’s a photographic look at the festivities. The party may be over, but you can still see Julia’s famous kitchen as part of a two-week sneak preview of the upcoming exhibit “FOOD: Transforming the American Table, 1950-2000.”
