I heard that Juliette Low was supposed to be on the titanic. But she came over early in January with Sir Batton Powell?
How true is the story.?

Oh, my goodness. Time came to become a Brownie, and there was no troop. My mother had been a Girl Scout in the 1930s, loved it, so signed on, trained to be a leader. Our first meeting day, the meeting was dismissed...it was the day John Kennedy was shot. But, from third grade - twelfth, no matter where we moved, girl Scouts were always my new friends, and we always had something in common -- from Virginia to California to Germany, this was my constant!

The Girl Scouts are a great organization, what a wonderful way to celebrate them!
