I still remember the anticipation I felt when my teacher booted up the school's copy of Load Runner on its "state-of-the-art" Commodore or Atari or something at my 3rd grade after-school program in 1987 or thereabouts. I clearly recall the tape deck (!!!) into which we inserted the game cartridge. My kids would be absolutely appalled. :-)


This is a very nice article on the history of the video games! It brings back some memories :)..
