Wow, that is so interesting to think about lighting the interior of a mine. I had never thought about having open flames on their head lamps-yikes! Or the fact that miners hadn't seen more than a few square feet of the inside until the generators were down there.

I sit and think how hard it was of old miners can work safely.If today you have both the technology and everything happens all sorts of damage and die so many of them, I think back then did not even know the number of people who died.
This article teaches us to respect them more and appreciate the miners work and dedication

Great article man. The modern lightning technics is with led lights
