Thanks for this great post. I recently attended a presentation given by Bjarke Ingels, the Danish architect. His firm won the Audi Urban Future award. They developed a concept for Smart Streets (that use driverless cars) and Plasti-City (using pixels to create contextually aware sign systems). The combination embeds a dynamic digital layer in the urban landscape - it's transformative and adaptive. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this.
